Responsibilities
You will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark in stores. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Day-to-day engagement:
Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and participate in required merchandising activities. Maintain professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
Holiday support:
Hallmark operations include seasonal demand. Additional days and extended hours may be required leading up to and following holidays (e.g., Valentine\'s Day, Easter, Mother\'s Day, Father\'s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Some holidays may require working on the holiday itself, including weekends.
Department Resets:
You may participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends.
One Team Vision:
You are part of Hallmark\'s field organization and may support other team members in their territories.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs or ladders.
Basic Qualifications
You're at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
Part-time employees with a work schedule less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
