Job Description: Pool/Beach Attendant The Pool/Beach Attendant is responsible for providing efficient and professional beach and pool side service to guests. This is a seasonal position starting mid May and ending mid September. Responsibilities
Assists guests with setting up chairs, umbrellas, and towels. Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner and ensures all guest contact is courteous, informative, and thorough. Thanks guests with genuine appreciation. Ensures cleanliness and order of pool and beach areas at all times, including clean chairs and tables. Responds to all guests' needs in a timely and efficient manner. Provides guests with clean towels as requested. Properly sets up pool and beach stations daily. Communicates hotel menus and services in an accurate and courteous manner. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma preferred. Job related experience in a similar setting preferred. Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff verbally and in written form. Ability to work independently and as a team. Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed. Physical Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. In accordance with New Jersey State Legislature (New Jersey Legislature Bill S2310 Sca (1R)) which requires private employers with ten (10) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs, promotion, or transfer opportunities. This position pays $15.92/hr dependent on experience. We're an equal opportunity employer.
