Want to help students own their future? Your voice can make it happen. Join Sallie as a Content Writer and craft content that’s fresh, relatable, and super useful—helping students and families make smart moves around college, grad school scholarships, financial aid, and what’s next. As a key player on a new AI-forward digital content team, you’ll work closely with the Content Manager on everything from blog articles and web pages to online ads, marketing emails, and user flows. You’ll blend engaging, search-friendly writing with AI magic, sharp research skills, and a love for storytelling. You’ll chat with our subject matter experts and turn their insights into clear confidence-boosting guidance that empowers students on their journey to college, graduate school, and beyond. What You’ll Do

Write and edit content that clicks with students and families on the college journey—including blog articles, web pages, online ads, marketing emails, and user flows.

Interview subject experts for perspectives that make our content uniquely helpful to students and families.

Keep everything on-brand and optimized for search (SEO/AEO) while sounding human.

Use AI tools to speed up drafts and research.

Partner with the Content Manager to make sure every piece is accurate, clear, and engaging.

Refresh existing content so it stays relevant and attention worthy

What You Bring

1–3 years of writing and content creation experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)

Strong storytelling skills across digital formats

Ability to turn complex info into content people actually want to read

Basic SEO/AEO know-how and a curiosity for optimization

Experience using AI tools for research and content creation

Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, “let’s try it” environment

Preferred

Experience in education, personal finance, or career planning

Experience with AI software including ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot

Basic knowledge of Hubspot, Figma, and project management platforms

Background in journalism, media, English, communications, or content marketing
