What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers and perform equipment inspections Prepare rental invoices and manage equipment returns Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs Willingness to follow safety precautions and use protective gear as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in customer service or a related field Familiarity with vehicle maintenance or rental processes Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Experience using technology in a retail or service environment
