Hertz is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid media strategy and optimization across Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty brands in North America. This role manages PPC (pay per click) Search & Programmatic Media strategy and execution, as it relates to managing automated digital ad campaigns focused on performance marketing, data analysis, and optimization across platforms like Google Ads, DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms), and social media (Meta platforms); all focused on driving higher ROI. This role will require skills in analytics, platform management (Google Ads, DV360), strategic planning, and technical proficiency in bidding/targeting under the collaboration of supporting media agencies. The Manager role will include the blending of paid search (PPC) with broader programmatic display, video (OLV), and connected TV (CTV) campaign strategy as well as coordination with affiliate marketing programs currently underway. A Day in Life:

The Manager of Performance Media & Advertising within the global Paid Media team will involve close collaboration with cross-functional Hertz teams and external partners. This individual will support and manage the approved paid media performance advertising strategy and forecast based on NA advertising budgets across our brands and maintain optimal levels of media performance across channels with efficiency vs. our benchmarks in accordance to regional business needs and/or local market environments. Identify and implement new media vendors, media partners, products, manage and streamline internal processes, and disseminate paid media advertising results and insights for innovation and report campaign results. Note: this role will be required to work hybrid from our Atlanta, GA or Estero, FL WHQ office at least 3 days per week. What You’ll Do:

Expert-level knowledge of SEM (Search Engine Marketing), PPC (Pay Per Click) and Display Programmatic paid conversion channel media advertising with a proven track record of successful results Build integrated media campaigns linked to performance channels aligned to business priorities and goals Contribute as part of NA media and advertising marketing team, sharing insights, best practices and being involved in understanding the relevant digital marketing developments, and trends in our other regions as well for new opportunities Develop clear, insightful performance reports outputs from our omni-channel strategy across our brands and regularly communicate findings and optimization recommendations and opportunities to Leadership, collaborators and team members Lead strategy end-to-end process execution, and implementation of entire initiatives with an eye toward continuous improvement with external agencies and platform partners, ensuring strong performance and innovation. Possess an expert level of functional expertise to synthesize the media advertising performance data and analysis of reporting to support forward looking media planning Manages the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for leadership, measurement and analytics with our agency linked to our campaign strategy Run campaign tests, analyze data, and leverage insights for optimization across channels and tactics and media partners from weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis Analyze results and deliver actionable insights to improve ROAS and efficiency and stay current on industry trends, tools, and emerging media opportunities. Coordinate with brand teams and creative teams to obtain all necessary assets, copy, and content approvals prior to media execution. What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s in Marketing preferred or relevant area of education 3-5 years’ experience in Digital Media or Media Advertising Buyer Agency experience preferred Moderate / Expert proficiency in Media buying and planning experience Strong paid advertising platform knowledge with high proficiency in performance campaigns: paid search SEM/PPC, Programmatic Display platforms Google (AdWords-SA360, Display Video-DV360), Microsoft, Meta (paid social platforms), TikTok, content marketing and video. Must be data driven and have experience analyzing media performance data full funnel KPIs across channels and media buying and industry and platform best practices to drive strong ROI Experience in working with and analyzing Brand lift, Search Lift, Conversion Lift and Reach & Frequency reports is plus Utilizes and proficient with Analytics GA4, Google Looker Studio and Tableau, Power BI a plus Strategic individual with a hands-on approach to execution, highly analytical, comfortable with campaign reporting and attribution models linked to performance with a proven track record of working under tight deadlines while keeping others on-schedule Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and proactive with account recommendations and sharing industry insights Ability to influence and demonstrate initiative Capability of balancing urgent priorities with strategic long-term objectives Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and leverage critical thinking and decision-making skills with accountability
