Job Description As a Business Development Manager, you will be a top-performing sales professional with exceptional sales and marketing skills. This is an opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong background in business development and a passion for expanding market presence in the Home Health sector.
You will cover a focused geographic territory including Eustis, Tavares, Mt. Dora, and Clermont areas, allowing for less driving and more selling time.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in Home Health sales with an existing book of business in In-Patient, Hospital, and ALF settings, along with established relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals in the markets.
Duties And Responsibilities
Drive business growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives within assigned geographic territory.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
Identify new referral sources and establish long-term partnerships within the healthcare market.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless client experience.
Actively promote Home Health services to drive referral growth and meet/exceed sales goals.
Leverage existing book of business to accelerate market penetration and growth.
Work with established accounts provided by regional management while developing new business opportunities.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, referral sources, and relationship development.
Participate in community events and healthcare networking opportunities.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to regional management.
Stay current with healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes affecting Home Health services.
Required Experience/Skills
Proven track record in sales and business development within Home Health sector.
Existing book of business in In-Patient, Hospital, and ALF settings REQUIRED.
Established relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals in the market REQUIRED.
Strong sales and marketing skills with demonstrated ability to exceed goals.
Experience in healthcare relationship building and referral development.
Knowledge of Medicare and healthcare reimbursement systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently in assigned territory.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and operational teams.
Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
Nice-to-Haves
Hospital Liaison experience.
Experience with healthcare CRM systems (Trella system preferred).
Knowledge of Home Health regulations and compliance requirements.
Community involvement in Central Florida healthcare networks.
Previous experience in expanding market territories.
Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
