The Chicago Sky are seeking a dynamic and innovative Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. This role is for a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about design, staying on top of current trends, and women’s basketball. You will collaborate closely with the design team to lead and shape creative campaigns, establishing engaging assets across digital and print platforms. From social media, web, and email to in-arena signage and fan engagement initiatives, your work will help drive ticket sales, strengthen brand affinity, and elevate the Chicago Sky’s visual identity. Partner with the design team to develop and execute creative campaigns Produce advertising assets, social media graphics, photo retouching, print, out-of-home, in-game content, team merch, etc. Maintain a regular system for asset organization, including naming convention, filing, and folder structure Capable of participating in key meetings and handling high-level design projects while consistently meeting project deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diverse creative initiatives with an open mind to big ideas Proactively contribute fresh ideas, references, and design thinking to elevate the Sky brand. Monitor industry, competitor, and cultural trends to inspire innovative creative solutions Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and quickly turn around work product Ability to produce Social Media creative that accomplishes the following:

Engages and inspires viewers Reflects the core of the Chicago Sky brand within our social media channels Adheres to brand standards

Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities, including the ability to provide clear creative direction and interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders Support the creative group by ensuring a creative working environment for the full staff, including fostering creative thinking, brainstorming and problem solving Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Lightroom a plus, but not required A portfolio is required to be considered for this opportunity. Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of professional design experience (collegiate or professional sports, entertainment industry or agency background preferred) Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Strong understanding of digital and social media formats, resolutions, and best practices. Knowledge of the game of basketball and passion for the Chicago Sky brand; experience designing for sports an asset Experience with merchandise design or motion graphics is a bonus! Comfortable working under pressure and thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Open to regular creative feedback and committed to continuous learning Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment Portfolio

Candidates must provide a link to their portfolio website showcasing their graphic design work and capabilities in order to be considered for this role. Work Environment

This is a full time, in-person position based in Chicago, IL Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to attend all Chicago Sky home games for the WNBA Season (held at Wintrust Arena and the United Center) Must be able to facilitate own local travel. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
