
Account Manager – Product Sales
The main purpose of PERI’s Account Manager – Product Sales position is to increase revenue volume and achieve strategic sales objectives. The position is accountable for revenue generation, customer relationships, and growing the customer base within an assigned geographical area. The Account Manager manages all aspects of generating revenue through the sale and rental of PERI’s products, solutions, and services. The sales team supports the customer throughout the project lifecycle in close collaboration with PERI’s internal team.
What You’ll Do In a Typical Day
Actively and continuously prospect to identify potential customer sites for PERI products within the assigned geographical area and sell PERI products to all construction sites.
Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers, focusing on transaction relationships with decision makers.
Actively manage customer rental projects and serve as liaison between PERI and the customer.
Identify potential PERI customers/projects and establish and build relationships with new and existing customers.
Manage the sales lifecycle, beginning with initial customer contact and ending with project closeout meeting.
Effectively manage pipeline and coverage to ensure target achievement and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maximize in-person customer interactions to build relationships, understand requirements, and provide support with current and future projects.
Utilize a consultative sales approach to add value throughout the sales cycle while continuously learning and maintaining knowledge of products, services, and their application.
Accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and work with internal PERI departments from project kick‑off to closeout.
Perform ongoing market research to stay up to date with trends, changes, and growth activity that may impact the business and customers, including understanding the political, economic, and competitive landscape in the territory.
