Overview
Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in the commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market.
Position We are looking to hire several Sheet Metal Workers/Installers to join our self-perform team for ongoing work on Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the military base.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range:
$43.47-45.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring work is done in accordance with relevant codes.
Apply mechanical principles using appropriate equipment and implement required safety practices in support of RQC's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position.
4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
