The Account Manager will work closely with customers (OEMs, tier 1s, etc.) and internal teams to support commercial activity related to xEV (Electric/Hybrid Vehicles) products. Role responsibilities include acting as a main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely response to customer inquiries, preparing sales reports and summaries, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to manage commercial activity related to assigned products. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and open to learning automotive related product specifications and manufacturing processes to communicate confidently with knowledgeable customers. Must additionally have technical prowess to recognize new product opportunities that will grow Astemo future product target areas of business. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, And Skills)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field. 0 - 5 years' experience in: sales, program management, accounting, administration, engineering, or business development. Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, And Skills)

Automotive experience preferred. Experience working within customer portals preferred. Position Duties And Responsibilities

Interface with OEM/Tier1 engineering, purchasing, and cost analysis teams. Coordinate and complete customer quotations. Support customer visits to manufacturing sites and sales offices globally. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Negotiate pricing terms and agreements with OEM customer. Analyze costs and pricing for customer applications with strong strategy plan to execute results. Develop and support plans for increased product profitability. Receive, verify, and manage customer purchase orders. Maintain the sales budget for respective products of responsibility. Support customer cost breakdown activities. Track and update customer contracts. Maintain and control department expenses associated with customer accounts. Support commercial aspects of product development and design changes. Understand customer's expectations and engage with key team members for timely support. Understand customer's organization, program milestones, and key deliverables. Skills And Abilities

Experience working with Customers preferred. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Well organized, inquisitive, and independent. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal direction is required. Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Availability for travel, including international. Supervisory Responsibilities
