Responsibilities

Day in the Life of Community Engagement Specialist (CPRS) includes building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, therapists, social workers, healthcare professionals, and any other individuals or organizations to generate referrals.

Educate healthcare professionals and community stakeholders about Crossroad’s treatment programs and services related to opiate use disorder.

Organize and conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and other educational events to increase awareness and referral rates.

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and follow-up with referred clients.

Utilize software and other tools to track leads, manage relationships, and report on referral activities.

Represent the clinic at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand outreach and visibility in the community.

Maintain accurate records of activities, expenses, and outcomes for reporting and analysis purposes.

Work with ER’s and Navigators to develop admission and intake workflows to Crossroads.

Provide any needed resources for patients.

Referrals to outside providers.

Finding any additional resources that patients may need.

Education and Experience requirements

Must be at least 18 or older

High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required

Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or be eligible to acquire the certification

Hours, Schedule, and Travel Position works Mondays - Fridays around 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some weekends may be required based upon business and community needs.
