We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Grading Foreman to join our civil construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of grading plans and equipment, and the ability to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities for Success
Crew Leadership : Supervise daily grading, site prep and earthwork operations
Equipment Operation : Oversee and operate heavy machinery for excavation and backfilling
Project Planning : Collaborate with management to sequence tasks and review project specs
Technical Accuracy : Maintain precise grade alignment using GPS/Trimble, lasers and transits
Quality & Safety : Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and engineering plans
What You Bring to the Table
Proven expertise as a Grading Foreman with preferred 5+ years of experience specific to civil grading/site work
High proficiency in managing digital documentation efficiently to track daily progress, crew hours, referencing physical and digital blue prints, cost tracking, quantity reports, etc.
Strong leadership and communication skills—you can manage a crew and keep production moving
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specs
Proven track record of managing crews effectively while maintaining high morale, a safety first mindset and a deep respect for job site protocols
