Assistant Account Executive

join our

Consumer & Brand Practice , focused on delivering impactful campaigns for a leading consumer brand. This role involves supporting multiple workstreams for a F500 company focused on media relations, content development and integrated communications strategies.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and eager self-starter with strong project management skills, an understanding of the evolving consumer media landscape, and the ability to contribute to creative brainstorming ideas for campaigns.

This position can be based in either Atlanta, Washington DC, New York or Pittsburgh.

What You'll Do

Serve as a key team member contributing to the execution and management of multiple projects and workstreams.

Develop media materials including pitch emails, reporter backgrounders, spokesperson briefing documents, and messaging.

Build and maintain targeted media lists and pitches; learn and follow clients’ priority media.

Identify cultural and industry trends and bring forward creative ideas.

Track and analyze media hits and campaign results against KPIs; maintain media trackers of press coverage.

Develop deep knowledge of client industry.

Support development and execution of media and campaigns.

Participate in client meetings, accurately capturing meeting notes and next steps.

Experience That Contributes To Success

Ideally a recent graduate with 0-1 years of PR internship experience.

Strong writing, media, and research skills.

Results-focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile for clients.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Highly detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.

Experience in Microsoft Office, Cision, MuckRack, and Brandwatch, preferred.

Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities, and employee resource groups.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between:

$35,000—$75,000 USD
