Admitting Representative
The Admitting Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients entering the hospital. This position is responsible for accurately registering patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, obtaining required signatures, and ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards. Education: High School Diploma or GED College coursework in healthcare administration or a related field preferred Experience: Previous experience in patient registration, admitting, front desk, or healthcare customer service preferred Hospital or medical facility experience strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Proficiency with computers, EMR systems, and basic office equipment Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, if applicable Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
