JOB SUMMARY The Commercial Vault Teller processes commercial account, customers' deposit transactions and change order requests in accordance with established teller policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary. Receives, processes, and delivers cash shipments from/to branch locations and the Federal Reserve Monitors vault cash supply and orders cash as necessary Ensures security and operating protocols and dual control requirements are strictly followed Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML Qualifications
A self-starting individual who possesses a High School Diploma or GED Must have at least two years previous teller experience in a financial institution Typing, PC and 10-key calculators Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal skills are necessary Must possess basic mathematical aptitude Problem solving and decision making abilities are essential Mental concentration is necessary for handling frequent interruptions and working in a fast paced environment Position can be mentally and physically stressful and requires standing for much of the work day Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, or moving heavy boxes or bags of currency and coin weighing up to 75 pounds, and pushing a money cart weighing up to 1,000 pounds Must be able to work flexible hours Monday through Friday, and Saturday rotation (hours will fluctuate as business needs dictate) Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
