
Lead Mold Maker
In support of the mission, vision, and values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Lead Mold Maker is responsible for running jobs start to finish. Reporting to the General Manager, the Lead Mold Maker works to ensure accuracy and consistency to help the team meet or exceed all goals and objectives required from this department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Service Attend Concept Meetings of the assigned Job Study and Understand the Design Layout the Production Plan (Routers) with input from the Manufacturing Engineer Answering questions relating to quality, delivery, and technical questions relating to the job Fill out or direct the completion of Inspection paperwork Understand Project "Deliveries" report scheduling issues to General Manager Study Job Ticket and confirm all job requirements Make sure that all prints reflect the correct part quantities, spares, and (safety extra's) Print Control and Redlines Deliver work to the next work cell/machine Oversee Machining Methods time allotments Operation Leader for Grinding Assembly Training and Motivation Record and report all errors and Out-of-Tolerance deviations to Management Final Fit and Assembly / Final Mold Completion Inspection Debug of Mold after Sampling Turn in prints and all completed forms at job end Post Completion Job review with Manufacturing Engineer and General Manager Cleanliness of work area Education & Experience:
Certification or College Degree, or High School diploma and Equivalent Experience in Mold Manufacturing environment Eight (8) years of related experience building, leading, and assembly of high cavitation, multi-action molds Ability to perform under pressure and work independently Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required Ability to ensure quality standards are met Strong attention to detail is required Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills Proficient in time management and communication skills What We Offer:

Requires walking, and on your feet for most of the day. Lifting as required up to 50 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. May need to climb stairs/steps periodically. May need to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist. Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed. There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals. Protective gear such as ear plugs, masks, gloves, safety glasses, etc. may be required in specific areas or duties.
