HDR Engineering is seeking a Substation Structural EIT/Coordinator to join our growing, nationally-ranked Power Delivery team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team that executes technical design on substation engineering projects ranging from device replacements to large greenfield designs. Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage) under the direction of senior engineers and designers. Prepare structural calculations, design sketches and redline drawings. Work with Designers and CAD Technicians to develop drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes and project specifications and requirements. Work under the direction of Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s). Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering EIT/FE certification strongly preferred. If not yet certified, candidate will have the title of "Coordinator" and must obtain EIT/FE certification for career progression. Preference given to local area candidates Familiarity or willingness to learn structural design software such as RISA, MFAD, L-Pile, or equivalent What We Believe
