STARK is seeking a Showroom Logistics Rep in our Stamford, CT showroom. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth day-to-day showroom operations while supporting our Account Managers and delivering an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational habits, a professional and helpful attitude, and is comfortable with hands-on physical work. Job Responsibilities

Showroom Operations and Maintenance

Maintain overall showroom appearance and readiness, including daily upkeep such as vacuuming, cleaning floors, displays, windows, and emptying trash. Support visual merchandising by helping maintain and rotate showroom displays, including hanging rugs, arranging sample blankets, and rotating product regularly to showcase new arrivals. Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Support

Receive, identify, and tag incoming shipments (rugs and samples). Assist with inspecting, photographing, and processing new inventory, and communicate any damage or soiling to the appropriate team members. Pull, prepare, package, and ship rugs and samples via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and common carrier for domestic and international destinations. Organize, replenish, and distribute returned samples to the appropriate areas, order cuttings, and help fulfill incoming sample requests. Assist with physical inventories of rugs and samples as needed. Learn and use internal systems to support inventory updates, scanning, and basic troubleshooting (training provided). Client and Account Manager Support

Assist Account Managers with client presentations by pulling rugs, flipping rug piles, and presenting full-size rugs and samples to clients. Support customers who are interested in stock rugs, including helping locate and present available options and coordinating with the Account Manager as needed. Memo rugs to clients and help arrange transfers to other showrooms as needed. Delivery and Installation Support

Deliver rugs and carpets to client homes or businesses with a professional and courteous demeanor. Assist with installations and deliveries. Distribute incoming daily packages to employees. Job Requirements

Comfort with hands-on work. Ability to communicate clearly, maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, and represent the company positively in client settings. Strong organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Computer literate and willing to learn internal systems and processes (we will train). Interest in the design industry is a plus. Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and move 75 to 100 lbs regularly. Comfortable with physical labor, including handling large rug piles. Must be able to lift and flip rug piles.
