As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will support cybersecurity-related analysis, reporting, and coordination activities associated with a nationwide public safety broadband network. This role focuses on monitoring cybersecurity risks, supporting technical assessments, and assisting leadership with understanding security impacts, trends, and mitigation considerations. You will work in coordination with network engineering and program management teams to ensure cybersecurity considerations are integrated into network performance oversight and technical decision support. This role is advisory in nature and does not perform hands-on security operations or incident response. Key Responsibilities
Support cybersecurity analysis and reporting related to network operations, performance, and risk oversight Assist in reviewing cybersecurity-related metrics, findings, and trends to identify potential risks or areas of concern Support preparation of cybersecurity briefings, summaries, and executive-ready materials for government leadership Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to track cybersecurity issues, action items, and mitigation activities Support documentation of cybersecurity requirements, considerations, and impacts within technical workstreams Contribute to risk management activities, including identification of dependencies and potential vulnerabilities affecting mission-critical communications Assist with development and maintenance of cybersecurity-related processes, artifacts, and supporting documentation Ensure cybersecurity considerations are communicated clearly to non-technical audiences Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive Location You will work as part of a primarily remote team, with occasional in-person meetings at headquarters locations in Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Arlington, VA; or Boulder, CO. Required Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree 7+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or security risk support Experience supporting cybersecurity analysis, reporting, or governance activities within a networked or telecommunications environment Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, risk management practices, and security controls Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports or briefing materials Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, program management, and stakeholder teams US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs or mission-critical communications environments Familiarity with broadband, LTE/5G, or large-scale infrastructure security considerations Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks or standards (e.g., NIST) Experience supporting technical risk assessments or security oversight efforts Note: Irrelevant text has been removed or reformatted for clarity while preserving original job content.
