Packaging Technician:

Packaging Tech will be the front-line to ensure that all products are packaged accurately and compliant to ensure patient satisfaction and proper brand representation. We are seeking quality candidates that value teamwork, accountability, and accomplishing the mission. The position will ensure compliance, quality, and accuracy while reporting to the Quality Assurance Packaging Manager. This is an entry-level role for driven, detail-oriented people with selfless motivation. A candidate must demonstrate strong mental stamina and attention to detail to succeed in this role for growth opportunities. Responsibilities

Execute and monitor all tasks in packaging areas, including packaging flower, edibles, and concentrates with precise weights and piece counts, while maintaining rate. Regularly examine machine operation and learn how to run and troubleshoot machinery. Train new team members; maintain equipment in good condition; clean machines; set up scales (minor mechanical). Report when small equipment needs to be replaced; supply packaging manager with performance analysis; log downtime. Complete cGMP training, Health & Safety, gowning for packaging, SOP training, and documentation training. Learn to operate basic labeling and packaging machines safely; follow SOPs and training to check components for QA/QC to ensure best practices and applicable regulations based on state regulations. Understand the purpose of line checks during packing orders and during cleaning; check labels and packages for print to ensure correct information (lot # and expiry date) and for damaged labels or packages. Understand and stay current with all SOPs to ensure cGMP compliance. Review and keep current with SOPs; identify actions to prevent defects; participate in quality training. Report corrections and discrepancies to management to ensure accuracy of inventory counts, labeling, and relevant information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Skills to be Successful)

Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent. Six (6) months of previous relevant work experience within other packaging, pharmaceutical, or biotech firms. Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting ability. Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in accordance with SOPs and training. Basic computer skills and the ability to enter and maintain accurate data in a timely manner. Perks & Benefits
