About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migrator / Messaging Consultant to join our IT consulting practice. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing medium to large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and cloud), Active Directory, tenant-to-tenant migrations, and PowerShell automation, along with strong client-facing consulting skills.

You will work closely with our client, project managers, and internal engineering teams to deliver successful migration outcomes while minimizing business disruption.

KeyResponsibilities

Lead and executeExchange Online, Exchange 2019, and Exchange SE migrations, includinghybrid and tenant-to-tenant scenarios

Design and implementMicrosoft 365 migration strategies aligned with customer business andtechnical requirements

Perform ActiveDirectory and Azure AD assessments, remediation, and integration formigration readiness

Administer andconfigure Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, identity, andcore services

Utilize Microsoftnative migration tools and third-party solutions (e.g., BitTitan, Quest)to deliver successful migrations

Develop and maintainPowerShell scripts to automate migration tasks, reporting, and validation

Provide technicalleadership during migration projects, including troubleshooting complexissues

Collaborate withproject managers and stakeholders to ensure timelines, scope, anddeliverables are met

Produce technicaldocumentation, runbooks, and migration reports

Serve as a trustedadvisor to clients, offering best practices and post-migrationrecommendations

RequiredQualifications (Must Haves)

5-10 years ofexperience with Microsoft Exchange, including Exchange Online, Exchange2019, and Exchange SE

5-10 years ofexperience performing medium to large-scale hybrid and tenant-to-tenantmigrations

5-10 years ofexperience administering Active Directory in complex enterpriseenvironments

5-10 years ofexperience using Microsoft native migration tools and third-party toolssuch as BitTitan and Quest

5-10 years ofexperience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration

5-10 years ofexperience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automationand migrations

PreferredQualifications (Nice to Haves)

5-10 years ofexperience migrating OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams using toolssuch as Quest and ShareGate

5-10 years ofexperience implementing Microsoft Defender for M365, Conditional Accesspolicies, and M365 security and compliance controls

Experience working ina consulting or professional services environment

Strong understandingof Microsoft 365 security, identity, and governance best practices
