Base salary range of
$66,000–$70,000 , with performance-based bonus opportunities that can increase total annual compensation to

What You’ll Do - Drive Sales & Revenue Grow top-line revenue by following the sales strategy set by the Director of Sales & Marketing and spotting opportunities that fit each event. Own your revenue goals, managing client budgets thoughtfully to meet their needs while maximizing hotel revenue. Stay plugged into the market: know the competitors, understand demand trends, and adapt your approach accordingly. Focus heavily on proactive selling by targeting high-potential accounts, markets, and segments. Identify, qualify, and close new business that aligns with both your goals and the hotel’s priorities. Respond to incoming leads within your market segment within four hours. Accurately forecast room nights and revenue for your groups and stay involved through turnover. Build Relationships & Guest Satisfaction Create strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients through sales calls, site visits, entertainment, FAM trips, and follow-up. Be a visible, trusted partner throughout the event lifecycle, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up. Collaborate closely with Convention Services to ensure a smooth handoff and flawless execution. Step in to solve problems, offer alternatives, and ensure client expectations are met (or exceeded). Gather guest feedback, address concerns professionally, and continuously look for ways to improve the guest experience. Use Delphi to track client activity and maintain accurate, up-to-date records. Stay Organized & Execute Well Follow all hotel standards, policies, and procedures. Use your time and resources wisely, balancing multiple priorities with urgency and focus. Leverage sales tools, systems, and support teams effectively. Follow through on leads, requests, and issues; until they’re resolved. Keep Learning & Growing Take ownership of your professional development and stay curious about improving your skills. Seek feedback, learn from others, and build on your strengths. Maintain a strong working knowledge of all technical and procedural aspects of the role. What You Bring
Experience:
3+ years of hotel sales experience. Hands-on experience with Delphi or similar sales systems. PMS experience (OnQ or comparable). Skills & Know-How
Confident negotiator with strong closing and persuasion skills. Comfortable “knocking on doors” and prospecting new business. Strong relationship-building and customer development skills. Ability to manage guest room blocks and meeting space inventory. Knowledge of contracts, legal considerations, AV products, and event services. Solid financial acumen, including understanding P&L statements. Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and systems like Delphi, OnQ, and Cvent.
