THE WORK:

You’ll lead and govern multi-disciplinary Estimating function supporting hyperscale data center programs.

You’ll establish and maintain firmwide estimating standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.

You’ll oversee estimating activities across ROM, schematic, design development, and construction phases.

You’ll ensure estimates are accurate, defensible, and aligned with current labor, material, and market conditions.

You’ll direct benchmarking, cost validation, and value engineering initiatives.

You’ll manage estimate revisions, scope changes, and clearly communicate cost and schedule impacts.

You’ll serve as the senior estimating interface for clients, presenting cost plans and executive-level summaries.

You’ll support client CAPEX planning, program budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

You’ll collaborate with internal program, delivery, and procurement teams to ensure cost alignment.

You’ll lead the development and governance of estimating tools, cost models, and benchmarks.

You’ll monitor market trends, escalation drivers, and cost risk factors.

You’ll recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing estimating leaders and teams.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, technology adoption, and scalability across the estimating function.

Remote : This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Solid experience in construction estimating and/or cost management, with progressive responsibility on large-scale projects.

Proven experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data center construction programs.

Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary estimating teams.

Strong understanding of construction cost drivers, procurement strategies, and market conditions.

Ability to lead both conceptual (ROM) and detailed estimating efforts.

Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Experience working in a consultancy or professional services environment.

Proficiency with estimating and cost management tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, Accubid, Excel.

Field or construction execution experience supporting constructability and risk assessment.

Experience supporting program-level or portfolio-level cost planning.

Strong commercial awareness and ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships.

$200,000 - $250,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, or Washington as set forth below.
