
Job Description:
The Operations Director partners closely with senior leadership to implement and execute strategy for assigned business units. The Director provides leadership to Operations Managers within assigned areas and serves as a liaison with organizational leaders (shared services) to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively. Operations Directors are skilled in financial analysis, critical thinking, operational assessments, and stay abreast of industry changes to bring best practices to assigned areas. Responsible for driving teams to actively engage in the Essentia Performance Management system to drive quality, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides input and drafts SBAR's for capital planning, new provider FTE's, pro formas and care delivery model changes. Accountable to ensure innovations and changes are implemented in assigned areas
Ensures KPI's for assigned business units are achieved and/or actively engages others to create action plans to achieve KPI's
Leads PDSA's and other improvement activities
Provides coaching and feedback to direct reports. Mentors others to grow and advance management/leadership skills
Leads budgeting, forecasting, and Medical Staff development planning to achieve organization growth objectives
Accepts special projects as assigned by the Market or Division and participates in system wide or market wide committees as assigned
Plans and executes complex agendas and leads team meetings to drive performance
Actively participates in provider and staff recruitment activities and works closely with HR and Physician Services partners
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or clinical / healthcare related field
Required Qualifications:
8 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting, including 3 years of leadership experience
Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle workflows to ensure revenue accuracy of assigned areas
Skilled at Dyad leadership collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree
