Full-Time, Field / Outside Sales Position Summary

The Planned Service & Maintenance Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth by selling preventative service plans, maintenance agreements, and planned service solutions to commercial and residential clients throughout the Tampa area. This role focuses on prospecting new leads, developing customer relationships, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored service and maintenance proposals that deliver value and long-term recurring revenue. Key Responsibilities

Prospect and Generate Leads:

Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, and other sales channels. Present & Sell Service Solutions:

Present planned service and maintenance offerings — including preventative maintenance contracts — to decision makers at businesses and property sites. Build Customer Relationships:

Foster long-term relationships with customers to ensure retention, renewals, and upsell opportunities. Develop Customized Proposals:

Assess customer needs and prepare tailored proposals and quotes that match operational requirements and budget. Achieve Sales Goals:

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets, including contracted revenue, new service agreements, and planned maintenance plan sign-ups. Manage Sales Cycle:

Own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and follow-up to negotiation, closing, and onboarding. Report & Track Activity:

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, CRM updates, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Coordinate with Operations:

Work closely with service dispatch, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of maintenance plans and customer expectations. Required Qualifications

Sales Experience:

2+ years of outside or field sales experience; prior planned maintenance or service contract selling is a plus. Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to explain complex service packages clearly and persuasively. Customer-Focused:

Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships. Self-Motivated:

Results-driven with the ability to work independently, manage territory activities, and prioritize tasks effectively. Valid Driver’s License:

Must be able to travel locally with a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Facility Services, Mechanical, HVAC, or industrial service sales. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and basic sales forecasting tools. Knowledge of service and maintenance contract structures, renewal cycles, and customer lifecycle management. Compensation & Benefits
