With a differentiated commercialized therapy and promising clinical-stage pipeline, this acquisition complements our current focus and supports our ambition of becoming the #1 neuroscience company worldwide. Intra-Cellular Therapies is expanding its CAPLYTA® medical team to support growth in psychiatry. The Neuroscience Sales Specialist has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies, in an ethical and compliant manner. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, aligning marketing resources, and supporting pull-through activities. They embody and communicate Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders. The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will develop product and disease state knowledge to engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. They will create local strategic and tactical plans, allocate resources, and manage budget and expenses within their territory. We are looking for sales professionals who are passionate about patients, tenacious for results, adaptable, and entrepreneurial in a fast-paced culture. Job Responsibilities Following compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers in-person and virtually. Effectively use budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customize discussions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner. Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with relevant internal stakeholders. Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer. Work with Regional Business Manager to develop a local business plan and capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategy execution. Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best practices. Provide timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, responses, synchronization, samples and expense reporting. Build a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products. Complete all company and job-related training within required timelines.
