Now,we’relooking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, dog-lovingGold Squad Pack Leaderto help bring our Gold Squad to more airports, events, neighborhood locations, and beyond.This role will be a core member of our brand marketing team, getting exposure and experience on a variety of events and campaigns.
This role is perfect for someone who loves creative ideas and thrives on the details.You’llbe in charge ofmanaging the planning,organizationand execution of Gold Squad appearances & events with a keen attention to detail.You’llplay a key part in bringing one of Hertz’s most talked-about brand experiences to life — from concept to completion, budgeting, on-site problem solving, communications, creative thinking, PR coordination, and more. You must be extremely willing to give out pets and scratches to our Gold Squad dogs for unlimited tail wags in return. This role reports to the Director, Brand Marketing.
Salary for this position starts at $60k and only needs 1+ year of experience in event coordination, project management, marketing, internships or related roles.
This role will be hybrid in office based in Atlanta.
What You’ll Do: Coordinate Gold Squad appearances and activationsat airports and high-traffic travel locations, ensuring flawless execution and on-site problem solving.
Manage alllogisticsincluding venue scheduling, budgets, signage, inventory ordering/management, sourcing, calendaring and more.
Contribute to social media contentfor the Gold Squad by working closely withBrandSocial MediaSpecialist, collaborating to draft posts, source content capture & assets, andmonitorengagement.
Assistwith campaign executionacross digital, social, and traditional channels by tracking timelines and deliverables.
Support creative developmentby preparing briefs and presentations for agency partners and internal teams.
Review marketing materialsfor accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
Compile and organize performance datato help measure impact and inform future activations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teamsto keep projects moving and stakeholders aligned.
Research trends and competitor activationsto inspire fresh ideas andmaintainindustry relevance.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
1+ years of experience in event coordination, project management, marketing, or related roles.
Experience in event planning/coordination is a plus.
Candidates must be comfortable in a pet-friendly environment, as this role involves daily interaction with dogs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willing to travel (30%)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and emerging trends.
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office; experiencewith project management tools (Workfront, Monday)a plus.
