Job Description We are modernizing our flagship cloud-hosted (OCI) application, BADGE, from its current desktop version to a web-based version. Need to be able to understand the code in the current desktop application to migrate to the new web-based application. You will be working closely with our lead developers to take ownership of a given module and provide guidance to the other contractors.
Responsibilities
Analyze and understand existing desktop code as part of the migration to a web-based solution.
Collaborate with lead developers to take ownership of a module and guide other contractors.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for the new web-based BADGE application.
Required Qualifications
Expert knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net.
Expert knowledge in developing ASP.Net, Web Services and Web applications in .Net.
Expert knowledge of .Net technologies (Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework).
Experience working in MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS.
Experience working with WinForms / WPF Forms.
Experience working with TFS / GIT Source Control.
Experience working with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries.
Experience working with Oracle and PL/SQL preferred.
Experience in Angular/React desired.
