Overview
We are looking for an individual who is motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. This individual will join the rest of our maintenance staff to produce the best possible playing conditions for our guests on a daily basis. Byrncliff Resort is a public 18 hole golf resort nestled in the hills of Wyoming County, NY. The golf course sits on 175 acres with an additional 200 acres of forest and agricultural fields. The maintenance facility at Byrncliff is comprised of a 4,000 sq ft heated work space and employee break room with offices and a 3600 sq ft cold storage area. We currently have a wide variety of new and well maintained turf equipment for all segments of golf course maintenance. The irrigation system is a well maintained 2001 Rainbird decoder system with stratus II software and flo-tronix pump station. This is a seasonal position that runs from April to October. Daily course set up Training of Staff All other general golf course practices. Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in the turf industry preferred Proficient in irrigation troubleshooting and repair Eye for detail Fertilizer and pesticide applications
