Position Overview
We’re hiring
Community Event Staff
to represent Bach to Rock Herndon at outreach events. This role is ideal for someone who is confident speaking with families, can explain programs clearly, and can help create a welcoming first impression.
What You'll Do
Represent Bach to Rock at community events, festivals, and local outreach opportunities.
Engage families, answer basic questions, and direct them to next steps (tour, trial, contact capture).
Support event setup/teardown and keep the booth/table organized.
Work professionally with staff while staying upbeat and approachable.
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service presence.
Comfortable talking to the public and working with kids/families.
Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability.
Pay
Part-time, as-needed.
$17–$18/hour .
Bach to Rock (“B2R”) Herndon is a modern, performance-based music school offering private lessons, group classes, bands and ensembles, early childhood programs, camps, and community events. We teach students from early childhood through adults across many instruments and styles, combining structured music education with real-world performance opportunities.
Our team includes instructors, early childhood educators, band coaches, camp and event staff, and front desk/admin support. We value professionalism, reliability, and a genuine love for working with kids and families. As a locally managed school built on a proven national curriculum, we offer the support and structure of an established brand with the tight-knit culture of a small team.
