Consulting Field Solutions Architect, Cybersecurity - Global/Strategics based in New York, NY or Newark, NJ, with remote options. We’re in an exciting area of tech and are reshaping the data storage industry. This role leads with innovative thinking, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and helps drive Pure Storage’s Cyber Resilience business across assigned regions. THE ROLE: The candidate will be a hands-on leader within Pure’s Cyber Resilience Field Solutions Architect team, guiding technical sales resources to enable, support, and position Cyber Resilience opportunities. The role requires translating client and partner business objectives into Pure’s value proposition, with deep expertise in Cyber Resilience and Cybersecurity technologies, processes, and market leaders. This role ensures Pure account teams effectively qualify and position Cyber Resilience and Cybersecurity opportunities and provides enablement to the channel partner community. It also involves cross-functional collaboration to align initiatives and go-to-market campaigns across multiple clients and sales opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Create field-facing solutions content (Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Qualification Guides, etc.) for Cyber Resilience & Cybersecurity Build and mainstream Cyber Resilience and Cybersecurity knowledge through enablement projects to empower the field Deliver webinars/events content with Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, Vendors, etc. Participate in customer-facing calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, internal strategy sessions, and related activities Influence Solutions Roadmap with daily discussions with Solutions Architects and Product Management Stay informed on internal and external offerings and competitor landscape Provide daily enablement and support via channels to influence customer opportunities Collaborate with Sales & SE Leaders for two-way feedback Inspire and motivate the field to adopt Pure Storage technology Engage cross-functionally with GTM and corporate functions Build internal relationships and connect team members to align on strategy WHAT YOU BRING: 10+ years in Information Security with hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security architectures Financial services experience preferred but not required Strong cybersecurity knowledge with a focus on Pure’s solutions Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, MITRE ATT&CK, CIA Triad) GRC familiarity across multiple verticals Expert-level experience with security technologies (SIEM, XDR, SOAR, IAM, DLP, EDR) Experience with threat modeling, pentesting, vulnerability management, incident response Understanding of modern cyber threats and attack chains; mitigations Proficiency with information security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK) Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and their role in Cyber Resilience Experience with Pure Storage desirable but not required Experience with data protection platforms (Rubrik, Commvault, Veeam) desirable but not required Self-motivated with ownership mindset and a track record of driving business results Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply Ability to articulate strategy to technical audiences and coach SEs and AEs Strong problem-solving skills with complex engineering designs CRM/opportunity management experience, preferably Salesforce Willingness to travel across US, Canada, and other territories as required Publications and social media presence a plus COMPENSATION AND PERKS: Salary ranges are based on role, level, and location. The base salary range is $168,000 - $299,000 USD. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
