Area Sales Manager US (m/f/d)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with prospects from various target industries including Supply Chain, FMCG, Retail, Automotive, 3PL, Pharma and Chemical to develop reusable packaging solutions for their supply chain ecosystems.
Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers in order to increase revenues.
Continuously educate self on reusable and circular packaging solutions to provide creative and competitive solutions to meet customers’ financial and sustainability objectives.
Continuously educate self on the Cabka product portfolio to effectively field customer questions about products, options, and performance.
Collaborate with other teams across the organization to deliver strategic growth opportunities.
Investigate, probe, and provide quotations to new customers and engage prospects.
Maintain adequate knowledge of external market trends and communicate internally across the organization.
Manage collections proactively in conjunction with finance personnel.
Timely respond to customers and internal teams.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Desired
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in supply chain sales highly preferred
Experience working with multinational companies
Ability to coordinate projects with large companies involving multi-disciplinary teams
Miller Heiman Sales Experience a plus
Strong oral and written communication
Strong presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office programs
Knowledgeable of CMS systems and reporting capabilities
Proactive and responsive within a dynamic fast-paced environment
Work Experience Required 3+ years material handling and pallet sales experience is a must.
Education/Certification Required Bachelor’s Degree
About the Opportunity Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering new customers from their network in Supply Chains, FMCG, Retail, Automotive, 3PL, Pharma and Chemical. The Business Development Manager possesses strong conceptual selling skills and confidence to bring new innovative reusable material handling solutions to large blue-chip customers.
