
Integrated Work Group (IWG) Portfolio Manager

The IWG Portfolio Manager will serve as a dedicated member of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), embedded within one or more Integrated Work Groups (IWGs). This role connects portfolio strategy with IWG execution to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery of initiatives that support company goals. IWG Portfolio Managers will collaborate as a Prioritization Team to coordinate across IWGs, enabling enterprise-wide transparency, integration, and effective resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitation & Coordination
Lead and coordinate the prioritization process for objectives and initiatives within assigned IWG(s). Manage the intake of new enhancements, ideas, and initiatives, ensuring they meet initiative definitions and are properly scoped. Organize and lead regular IWG meetings, ensuring alignment with the company’s Operating Framework. Provide support to initiative leads to ensure consistent initiative management and accountability. Support cross-collaboration with other IWGs by identifying interdependence and overlaps, supporting ongoing collaboration where required to ensure proper coordination through implementation. Onboard new IWG team members to the PMO process. 2. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to IWG leaders (working group, initiative leaders, etc.) and stakeholders in aligning priorities. Foster strong relationships across IWGs, PMO, and PSG (Prioritization Subgroup). Serve as a liaison between IWGs and the leadership team sponsors, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and transparent. In partnership with other IWG Portfolio Managers, develop and maintain a structured framework for managing multiple initiatives, aligning them to company and IWG strategic objectives. In partnership with IWG leaders, initiative leaders, and other stakeholders, define initiative scope, goals, timeline, budget, deliverables, and success metrics.Monitor initiative progress, close gaps, and escalate constraints or risks when needed. Ensure scope and deliverables are defined with support where needed. Collaborate with other IWG Portfolio Managers to form a Prioritization Team responsible for coordination across IWGs. Ensure inter-IWG integration by connecting similar initiatives across different IWGs. Partner with other IWG Portfolio Managers to ensure consistency in process across IWG’s including controls/governance, reporting tools, initiative intake protocols, and project management best practices. Contribute insights, lessons learned, and continuous improvement suggestions to strengthen portfolio management practices. 5. Change Leadership & Process Improvement
Drive change management design and execution to enable adoption of new processes, systems, and initiatives. Partner with the work groups to assess impact of implementations and assist in developing change management plans to mitigate any risks. Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within IWGs. 6. Reporting & Communication
Provide regular updates to IWG leaders, PMO, and PSG on initiative progress, risks, and resource needs. Ensure consistent communication of process and priority changes to relevant stakeholders. Define requirements for dashboards, analytics, and reporting to enhance visibility of initiative health. Qualifications & Skills
Strong background in program/portfolio management and enterprise-wide organizational leadership. Experience working in matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives across functions and IWGs. Strong communication and facilitation skills, with ability to influence at all levels. Analytical mindset with ability to establish and track KPIs. Familiarity with portfolio/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Workday) preferred. Success Measures
Effective alignment of IWG initiatives with company strategic goals. Transparent and efficient prioritization across IWGs. Timely execution of initiatives within scope, budget, and resources. High stakeholder engagement and trust. Demonstrated contributions to continuous improvement of PMO and IWG practices.
