The Director, Platform Administration and Support will play a critical role in advancing Xylem’s digital transformation, advancing our AI & Enterprise Data Strategy. In this highly visible role, you will act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and the AI & Enterprise Data team, ensuring that analytics and AI solutions are reliable and deliver measurable business value. You will champion the adoption of advanced analytics, empower teams to make data-driven decisions, and help shape the Data function to be a strategic enabler of Xylem’s success. Your leadership will be instrumental in sustaining our AI, Data & Analytics technologies throughout our digital transformation. Core Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of data platforms (strategic & legacy). Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of deployed solutions. Monitor and optimize data workloads. Lead the resolution of AI & Analytic solution incidents and outages. Establish and manage support processes (e.g., ticketing, SLAs, escalations, and KPIs). Define, implement and enforce data access controls, lineage tracking, and audit logging. Establish processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, reconciliation, and trust. Define and lead QA process and end user acceptance testing. Standardize and document operational procedures and runbooks. Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. Advocate for modernization of legacy platforms. Define, implement, and enforce data retention and archival policies to ensure regulatory compliance, cost-efficient storage, and responsible long-term data stewardship. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles. 5+ years of experience in business relationship management or program management. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders. Broad knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, SQL, Azure Data Lake Services, PowerBI, Business Objects, Cognos, and traditional data warehousing technologies. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, analytics platforms, and enterprise data management principles.
