
The Lede Company is seeking a PR Account Executive to join the team in our New York office. The Account Executive will play an integral role in supporting fashion, lifestyle and cpg clients and will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Help develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness
Lead select client programs and campaigns from planning to execution
Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a team member on client accounts
Oversee junior team members to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring them
Manage day-to-day client tasks, including being responsive to incoming client communications and requests
Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc.
Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agencies
Support onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotions
Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients
And other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years PR, media relations, and account management experience in the fashion, lifestyle and cpg verticals; agency experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
Business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing
