Overview
Regions is seeking a Senior Consumer Relationship Banker focused on acquiring and deepening relationships with Preferred Banking Households. The role involves meeting with customers and prospects in person and by phone, identifying financial needs, and offering appropriate products, services, and guidance to help customers reach their financial goals. This position emphasizes complex, affluent solutions, wealth opportunities, investments, lending, debt consolidation, and in-depth saving conversations. Primary Responsibilities
Achieve individual and branch targets by proactively identifying customer needs and offering Regions’ solutions, with a focus on Preferred Banking Households Conduct outbound calls using generated lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Preferred Banking Households in partnership with the Branch Team Educate and advise customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance Inform customers about digital solutions (mobile, online, and ATM) to improve banking convenience Provide a consistent customer experience including day-to-day branch responsibilities as needed Resolve customer issues and refer customers to internal experts when additional goals are identified Support team development by serving as a subject matter expert for junior bankers Follow bank processes and regulations, manage operational risks, and report as required by the Branch Manager This position may require overtime as determined by hours tracked and the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is incentive eligible and requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Proficiency with computers, including typing and monitoring Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Certifications/Licenses
Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire Preferred
