- Experience working in a matrixed environment with many stakeholders and strong governance.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing large teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability for building and maintaining team morale.* Oversee daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and fixed assets* Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, non-po invoices and schedules* Maintain and manage the monthly close calendar* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation* Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies Responds timely and efficiently to internal and external communications both verbally and written through memos or e-mail* Develop and document accounting policies and procedures* Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements and automation Lead and mentor accounting staff* Promote a collaborative and accountable team culture Conduct performance evaluations and support training* Support internal and external audit processes* Performs all other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
