
Management & Sales Training Program - Floorcovering

The Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a Floorcovering Facility Management or Sales Representative role within 18-24 months. With Sherwin-Williams' promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the chance to advance into a Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician position after successfully completing the initial 8-to-12-week training.
This position typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.
During the program, you will collaborate with facility leadership, sales, and regional management to oversee a multi-million-dollar business, providing insights into the development and strategy of the facility. You will gain vital knowledge in facility operations, core products, installation techniques, customer service, and client development. This experience will equip you to contribute significantly to the team's success by helping to grow the company's market share through partnerships with and sales of floorcovering materials to commercial clients such as property management companies, builders, and renovation contractors.

Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program. Able to retrieve materials and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position. Experience in leadership roles supervising others or leading teams. Experience working in team settings through work or extracurricular activities. Prior experience selling floorcovering or related products. Experience with timekeeping and/or CRM systems. Willingness to relocate for future opportunities. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, including Spanish.
