Capital Strategy Specialists support senior finance and investment leadership by
analyzing how capital is raised, deployed, and optimized
to support organizational or portfolio-level objectives. The role focuses on
strategic capital planning , rather than day-to-day trading or transaction execution. These professionals collaborate closely with investment teams, corporate finance, treasury, portfolio strategy, and external advisors to evaluate capital structures, funding options, and long-term return objectives. Key Responsibilities
Support development and evaluation of capital allocation and deployment strategies Analyze capital structures, funding sources, and cost-of-capital considerations Conduct scenario analysis to assess capital needs under different strategic outcomes Evaluate investment and financing alternatives, including equity, debt, and hybrid capital Support long-term capital planning, pacing, and deployment frameworks Assist with portfolio-level capital efficiency and return optimization initiatives Prepare materials and recommendations for senior leadership and committees Monitor capital utilization, performance, and strategic alignment over time Develop analytical models, dashboards, and tools to support capital decision-making Translate complex financial analysis into clear strategic insights Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field Strong interest in capital strategy, corporate finance, and long-term value creation Solid understanding of capital structures, financing instruments, and return drivers Experience or coursework in corporate finance, valuation, or strategic finance (preferred but not required) Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, SQL, or financial modeling software is a plus Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Strategic mindset with the ability to connect financial analysis to business objectives About the Career Launch AI Talent Network
