LOCATION + WORK ELIGIBILITY This is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days in-office per week. Candidates must be located in Vancouver, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, or Chicago. US Offices: Applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents. Vancouver Office: Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or hold valid work authorization. How You Will Contribute in Your Role

Work with teammates in product, marketing, engineering, and analytics to craft impactful retention, monetization and paid user repeat engagement experiences, growth experiments, and new features and enhancements. Define and shape experiments that help users reach clear “aha” moments, starting from early ideas and sketches, defining approaches to hypotheses, testing interactive prototypes, and making high-fidelity designs. Design against Grammarly’s strategic business goals and user needs, collaborate and contribute to identifying key growth opportunities, and contribute to a cohesive roadmap with your team. Leverage customer insights to guide users toward feature discovery, habit formation, and identifying continued paid value across individuals and teams. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand new and existing users paid users, as well as competitor analysis, to inform high-impact experiments and iterations. Be curious about and constantly learn about new ways of approaching monetization and paid user experiences, stay interested and ahead of industry trends, and ask critical questions Elevate the design culture at Superhuman by pursuing remarkable quality in your design craft and producing consistent, high-quality work that drives measurable business impact. How You Will Collaborate

Partner with product managers to set the vision for repeat engagement and monetization initiatives and build a roadmap of projects that improve retention and expansion metrics. Engage with Product, Marketing, and Brand stakeholders to align on paid user onboarding, upgrade, new feature discovery and team growth journeys, communicating design updates to leadership for feedback and approval. Advise product and engineering teammates through a deep understanding of interaction patterns that balance power and approachability, helping reduce design-related blockers and delivery delays. Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing to run experiments, improve processes, and deliver high-quality, on-brand features that drive adoption, satisfaction, and upgrades. Collaborate with designers to elevate the craft of growth design, mentor and critique across design, and identify efficient and inspiring ways of working as a design team. Help contribute and drive best-in-class design team culture, inspiration, and brand standards. SOUND LIKE YOU?

Experience: 5+ years relevant working experience in product design roles with 3+ years focused on growth, engagement and discovery, monetization/subscription, or retention experiences. Expertise: You have demonstrated mastery of product design, encompassing prototyping, visual and interaction design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. Sweats the details to build a premium experience for users. Curiosity: You love exploring new ideas and solutions across technology and user-centric design.
