Charleston, SC . This is a critical replacement hire and an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting continued business growth through accurate, competitive bidding on high-profile commercial and industrial concrete projects. This position is ideal for an estimator with
3–5 years of experience estimating commercial concrete work
(no residential focus) who enjoys collaborating with operations, applying practical field knowledge, and contributing directly to winning new work. Key Responsibilities
Prepare complete, accurate estimates and bids from start to finish for
commercial and industrial concrete projects Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using
Planswift
and
HCSS HeavyBid Interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop full scopes of work Support bid follow-up efforts, client communication, and contract negotiation Collaborate closely with field operations and leadership to ensure constructability and pricing accuracy Apply real-world concrete construction knowledge to produce practical and competitive bids Maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal partners
