Job Summary Working under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content across Westland’s platforms. This role blends content creation, community engagement, analytics, and collaboration and is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally.
Travel is a required component of this role , as you will frequently visit our various communities to capture the authentic Westland experience. While you will be responsible for the execution of significant ad budgets and the maintenance of corporate social channels, all strategic plans and major budget allocations will be performed
under the direction and final approval of department leadership .
Key Responsibilities
Paid Social Media Execution (Core Focus)
Campaign Implementation: Under supervision, build and launch paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and LinkedIn to drive qualified leasing leads. Daily optimization: perform routine optimizations on bidding, targeting, and creative performance based on established department guidelines.
Testing Support: Execute A/B testing frameworks for ad copy and visual assets as directed to help lower Cost-Per-Lead (CPL).
Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking monthly ad spend across the portfolio, ensuring high ROI and reporting discrepancies to leadership.
Technical Maintenance: Assist in the implementation of tracking pixels and lead forms to ensure accurate data collection.
Corporate Brand & Content Management
Corporate Page Management: Manage and maintain Westland Real Estate Group’s primary corporate social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), ensuring a professional and consistent brand presence.
On-Site Content Capture: Travel to various properties within the Westland portfolio to capture high-quality photos, Reels, and TikToks specifically designed to perform in both organic and paid environments.
Social Scheduling: Maintain an organic content calendar for both corporate and property-specific accounts, supporting the brand's long-term "Westland Story."
Employee Advocacy & Culture: Feature our maintenance and leasing teams to humanize the brand, showcase company culture, and support recruitment efforts on corporate channels.
Community Facilitation & Support
Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages across all managed pages, specifically addressing inquiries generated from paid advertisements.
Escalation: Work with the marketing team to address online reviews, escalating sensitive feedback to supervisors to ensure our commitment to service is upheld.
Event Support: Assist in property-level events (e.g., summer carnivals) with live social coverage at the event.
Analytics & Reporting
Data Compilation: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on both corporate page growth and ad performance, focusing on Reach, CTR, Lead Volume, and Conversion Rate.
Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on social media trends and platform algorithm changes, reporting updates regarding Meta’s housing ad categories to the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
Experience: 2-4+ years of professional social media experience with a heavy emphasis on Meta Ads Manager. Experience in the multifamily or real estate industry is preferred.
Brand Execution Skills: Proven experience managing corporate social media profiles and executing paid social campaigns within Fair Housing guidelines.
Visual Skills: Proficiency in mobile photography/videography and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Detail-Oriented: Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets to track marketing metrics.
Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft high-converting ad copy and professional corporate updates.
Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel frequently to various Westland properties for content shoots and events; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
