Overview
Take Back The Night offers resources for survivors and holds events, rallies, marches, vigils, conferences, support sessions, and educational opportunities to further our mission and goals. For more than 50 years, Take Back The Night Events have reached more than 10 million people in over 30 countries and more than 500 communities. We are comprised of volunteers who work tirelessly for our mission and cause. We offer summer and semester internships to qualified applicants. We seek enthusiastic and goal‑oriented volunteers to support the Dear Katie Survivor Stories Podcast. This will involve researching possible sponsors, reaching out to brands, overseeing social media and website content, and developing the overall image of the podcast. Responsibilities
Research possible sponsors and outreach targets for the Dear Katie Survivor Stories Podcast. Reach out to brands and partners to support podcast initiatives. Oversee social media and website content related to the podcast. Develop and maintain the overall image and messaging of the podcast. About the Programs
About TBTN: We have been serving 3000+ colleges and other advocacy groups for 50+ years. We provide support for survivors of sexual assault and work to end sexual violence for all people globally. About Dear Katie: This podcast shares the voices of survivors from all walks of life as they navigate their healing journeys and advocate for a community of support. Our podcast has touched tens of thousands of listeners around the world. Qualifications
Research, communication, and social media skills. Enthusiastic and goal‑oriented with a commitment to supporting survivors of sexual violence. Ability to contribute a minimum of 10 hours per week. Benefits and Training
Volunteers receive training on social media skills and research techniques to build confidence and success. Logistics
Minimum 10 hrs/wk. Verification upon successful completion of hours. CRITICAL NOTE : To get started, you must complete our Volunteer Agreement. Do NOT hit the "I want to help" button to indicate your interest. Instead, you must complete the Volunteer Agreement form
