Overview Eastern Industrial Supplies, located in Charleston, SC, is looking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Representative to help drive the Industrial PVF business. Responsibilities As an Inside Sales Representative, you play an essential role in maintaining stellar customer and vendor relationships to help our business thrive. You will also work in Counter Sales, where you can increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting walk-in and telephone customers in the selection and acquisition of needed products. You will apply technical knowledge to satisfy customer needs. You will maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives to streamline order processing. You will keep track of order statuses and customer requirements by reviewing our queue and ensuring information is accurate. You will handle expedited orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery dates. You will manage product or material returns, completing required paperwork promptly and issuing credits to customers per our policies. You will educate yourself on all company products to help customers make well-informed decisions and stay informed on active marketing programs to provide accurate responses to customer inquiries. The job can be fast-paced, but you are prepared for the challenge. You enjoy using strong customer service and business skills to help others in wholesale distribution selling commercial plumbing products.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Excellent customer service skills

Experience in writing orders or providing quotes for customers

Experience in Industrial Distribution – PVF (Pipe, Valves, Fittings) and commercial plumbing products

Have a great attitude

Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you highly organized? Can you effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you attentive to detail? Work Schedule This full-time position in wholesale distribution works a typical schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional time as needed.
