Texas Highway Products is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the North Region. This position reports directly to company leadership (Director of Sales) and plays a critical role in expanding our presence with municipal, county, and state transportation agencies. The ideal candidate has deep roots in the Intelligent Transportation Systems industry, established relationships with traffic engineers and procurement teams, and a passion for bringing innovative technology solutions to market. Build and maintain relationships with municipal traffic engineers, county road departments, TxDOT district personnel, and traffic signal contractors Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, specification influence, and RFQ/RFP responses Develop and deliver technical sales presentations demonstrating product capabilities and ROI Guide customers through cooperative purchasing options to streamline procurement Forecast pipeline activity and provide accurate revenue projections Technical Consultation

Serve as a trusted advisor on traffic signal systems, detection technologies, communications, and power solutions Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on project specifications and submittals Stay current on MUTCD, NTCIP, and ATC standards relevant to our product lines Collaboration & Professional Development

Coordinate with inside sales and operations to ensure customer satisfaction from quote through delivery Contribute to team success through knowledge sharing and peer mentorship Maintain detailed records in CRM and participate in regular pipeline reviews Represent Texas Highway Products at industry events including IMSA, TxDOT conferences, and regional trade shows Qualifications

Required Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems, traffic signal equipment, or related infrastructure Demonstrated success selling to municipal and government agencies Understanding of traffic signal operations, detection, and communications Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% within territory Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage a territory Preferred IMSA Signs, Signals, or Work Zone certification Familiarity with cooperative purchasing programs (BuyBoard, HGAC, TxShare) Experience with NTCIP protocols and ATC/NEMA controller platforms Existing relationships with Texas municipal traffic departments Bachelor’s degree in a related field What We Offer
