Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for our team. The Teller greets customers, assists with a variety of financial transactions, and leaves a positive impression through friendly, service-oriented interactions. Responsibilities
Greet customers as they enter the branch and serve as the first point of contact for most customers. Efficiently process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments. Utilize product knowledge to recommend financial products and services to meet current and future needs. Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls, vouchers, receipts, and security procedures, ensuring it balances at the end of each day. Be detail-oriented and accurate, counting cash, entering information into a computer, complying with check-cashing guidelines, and looking for fraudulent activity. Take on service opportunities, including new account processing, updating customer and account information, and providing needs-based solutions. Work as part of a fun, supportive team and strive to deliver excellent customer service each day. Qualifications
1-2 years of banking experience, preferred Excellent relationship-building skills Experience working with the public and handling money Basic math and computer skills Work Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time position. Scheduled hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and alternating Saturday hours (8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.). You will have Saturday afternoons, late evenings, and every Sunday off. Salary: Starting hourly pay at $17.00/hour (range $17.00–$22.60/hour). Benefits
