The Manager Strategic Account Performance plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team with data-driven insights and analytical support. This involves analyzing sales performance, identifying trends and assisting in strategic planning to optimize sales efforts and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities include building strategic customer account plans, providing key business performance insights and establishing optimal brand performance to multiple high impact retail trade partners. This position will be supporting mid-sized highly complex regional chains.

Responsibilities

Partner locally and regionally with various mid-sized highly complex chain retailers

Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data from various sources (STR, RSD, Consumer Research) to provide actionable insights and recommendations to Account Managers and leadership

Evaluate the effectiveness of sales promotions and campaigns in assigned accounts, and recommend adjustments based on brand performance and consumer responsiveness

Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client needs, identify areas for improvement in existing accounts, and identify data-driven selling opportunities

Prepare and deliver compelling organizationally aligned presentations and reports outlining key findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and understand promotional cycle-plan to inform Key Account Team strategies for optimizing sales volume, category share and revenue growth

Lead the planning and optimization of promotional campaigns, including but not limited to geography, brand equity, loyalty programs, and joint business partnerships

Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, leveraging data and insights to continuously optimize promotional strategies to maximize ROI

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in promotional marketing, and drive innovation in strategic account management by leveraging brand strength into retail partnerships

Provide leadership across our team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence

Who We’re Looking For

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and management skills necessary

Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to penetrate all levels of the organization

Stakeholder management skills required

Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness

College degree required in business, finance, economics or marketing; advanced degree preferred

Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry

Sales and/or Trade Marketing experience is a plus

Industry experience preferred

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working at a computer, and attending and/or leading effective meetings. Ability to drive a vehicle and travel by air

Some travel required (including international)

Fully authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without the need for sponsorship

Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
