Position Overview The Relationship Manager in EPIC Private Client is responsible for providing exceptional service and guidance to a group of private clients, offering professional advice and advocacy at all times. The Relationship Manager works independently and must be an excellent problem solver. This is a full-time exempt position.
Responsibilities
Become a trusted advisor and provide exemplary service to Private Clients.
Collaborate with Private Client Relationship Managers, Account Managers, Private Client Associates, Private Client Advisors, and EPIC Private Client leadership.
Participate in thought leadership as EPIC grows and optimizes the private client practice.
Provide mentorship and leadership to Private Client Associates.
Develop cooperative and professional relationships with carriers.
Manage renewal activity from start to close and deliver complete and accurate renewal reviews per agency guidelines.
Identify sales opportunities by account rounding and selling additional coverage.
Own customer concerns and feedback until completion.
Remarket accounts per agency guidelines or at the request of the producer or insured.
Assist Private Client Advisors in initial discussions with prospective clients and onboarding when needed.
Take on additional responsibilities and manage projects as directed by EPIC Private Client Leadership.
Comply with internal procedures and meet performance and quality standards.
Education and Experience
High School / GED required; P&C Insurance License required
5+ years of Client Management Experience
Working knowledge of computers and relevant software (e.g., MS Office, Outlook)
Sagitta (ATS) and ImageRight experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Avoid E&O situations
Demonstrate urgency in responding to inquiries
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
Attention to detail
Punctual and reliable
Maintain confidentiality
Compensation The national average salary for this role is $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education, and will consider internal equity and market data.
