Job Overview : Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a (Hybrid) Marketing Specialist at our Southlake, Texas; Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; Eisenhower, Virginia or East Wichita, Kansas office. The primary purpose of this job is to be a multi-disciplinary marketer, moving fluidly between design, strategy, and execution to support our company and our customers (Real Estate Agents). The incumbent should be able to design "scroll-stopping" digital content or craft a social media campaign with an influencer mindset; and edit short-form video content, explore AI tools for innovation, or curate high-impact communications for our internal network. Additional Overview : The incumbent should have an impeccable eye for visual design and a strong command of social media. Beyond these core skills, the role emphasizes growth areas such as video storytelling, web content strategy, and digital communications. This role aims to strengthen our brand through high-quality visuals, engaging content, and strategic insights.

Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative Strategy: Design high-quality visual assets from concept to delivery, including digital graphics, social media content, web banners, digital advertisements, brochures, flyers, signage, and publications. Social Media Growth & Brand Storytelling: Manage and elevate social channels with an influencer mindset; produce high-engagement content that showcases culture, training, resources, mentorship, coaching, and brand power to attract consumers and agents. Event Marketing Support: Capture digital content for live events and post real-time updates; assist with organizing and implementing company marketing events (in-person and virtual). Video Strategy & Production: Lead or assist with production of video series and campaigns from brainstorming to final output. Digital Communications & Content Management: Design and craft copy for newsletters and email announcements; assist with web content, intranet resources, blogs, and external websites. Internal Collaboration & Workflow: Maintain a cohesive content calendar and ensure brand standards across regions. Innovation & AI Adoption: Explore and implement AI tools to enhance marketing workflows and stay ahead in strategy and execution. Strategic Planning: Prepare marketing and recruiting strategies; brainstorm growth ideas and improve user experience. Resource Promotion & Management: Promote value of resources, tools, and programs, creating content that addresses agent needs. Quality Assurance & Peer Review: Review peers’ work for quality, brand consistency, and accuracy before final output. Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital assets and provide assets/support to stakeholders as needed. Educational Training: Organize and lead marketing training (webinars and in-person) to guide staff and agents on resources. Analytics & Trends: Measure and report monthly performance of resources, tools, and campaigns; stay updated on trends and best practices. Qualifications : Equivalent combination of education and experience considered. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of two (2) years in marketing, graphic design, social media management, or digital content creation. Visual Portfolio: Strong portfolio or social links demonstrating design and video storytelling ability. Visual Storytelling: Photography, videography, and video editing skills preferred. Digital Toolkit: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and Google Workspace. Social Fluency: Knowledge of major platforms and trends; experience with Meta Ads Manager is a plus. Trend Spotting: Up-to-date with trends in design, AI tools, social media, digital marketing, and measurement. Communication Style: Strong writing and communication skills; ability to craft engaging, human copy. Agile & Self-Driven: Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Execution & Detail: Strong execution skills with meticulous attention to detail. Mentorship Mindset: Team-oriented with ability to educate others on technology and marketing strategies. Industry Knowledge: Real estate terminology familiarity beneficial but learnable. Supervisory Responsibility : This position will not directly supervise employees but may review peers’ work for quality assurance. Licenses and Certifications : There are no licenses or certifications needed for this role. Work Environment : Indoor office setting with moderate noise; some roles may require lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel : Local travel within the assigned region for event support and content capture; occasional travel (approximately 1-2 times per year) to Headquarters in the DC area may be required.
