We e29re hiring on a full time and freelance basis.
This position is remote and you will be required to use your own computer for this role. Working in our LA office is welcome if you are local to the area.
About you:
The ideal candidate is someone who has vast experience working with IRL content and understands what it takes to create engaging videos.
You must be able to use Adobe products suite (Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop) at an advanced level. Our content involves detailed and intensive motion graphics and animations - this is an important part of our content.
We encourage and expect our editors to be highly creative, which involves going the extra mile using music tracks, sound effects, visual effects to transform raw footage into a masterpiece that millions of people will enjoy.
You understand sports culture, specifically basketball, and are passionate about creating content in the sports and general entertainment niche.
Responsibilities
Use the Adobe creative suite (Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop) to edit videos
Manage multiple video projects to ensure consistent and regular uploads without compromising on quality
Work ahead of deadlines
Quality assurance of all content edited
Adjust videos based on multiple rounds of feedback from a variety of stakeholders
Ensure videos produced are in-line with YouTube guidelines and policies
Apply feedback and learnings to improve future videos and reduce editing note volume
Manage Files & create backup of projects
Uphold Jesser’s values and reputation to the highest standards
Qualifications
Great communication skills - written and verbal
Can work independently and are driven by results
Understanding of Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Advanced understanding of the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
Excellent at receiving and implementing feedback
Desirable
Knowledge and interest in internet trends
Knowledge and interest in sports content
Knowledge an interest in 3D graphics (maya, blender)
Required
Vast Experience and skill using Adobe creative suite (Premiere/After Effects/Photoshop)
2+ years of experience working with high performing IRL YouTube content
